Tom Tom works better in the Virginia backwoods than Garmin does. I tried them both and time after time it was Tom Tom that knew where I was while Garmin had an arrow spinning in a place with no road. In town there was virtually no difference between them.

It's a gizmo. Whoever dies with the most gizmos wins,........

MY POST WAS DRIPPING SARCASM Even though SATA-6 is not as wild a woolly as is was meant to be,...........(it's just a specification at this point and any new SATA-6 drives on the market today do not achieve sustained 600 MB speeds) it's being touted as the new holy grail of computing. But so far It doesn't work at anywhere near the speeds

It is better than Vista, in a lot of little ways as far as the interface goes. File transfers happen much quicker too. I'm on the RC as well.

I wonder about the level of customer support that they'll offer for this device. As I said in an earlier post, I almost bought a Kindle after trying out my daughter's at her house this summer. I didn't buy it because of the indifference shown to the legitimate owners by Amazon when someone steals a kindle and is allowed to continue using

The bids will pour in when it's close to the end of the auction. I think that it's a great idea and is for a good cause too. I'd love to be able to bid on it, but it's beyond my means. The technology poured into it is very impressive and somebody is gonna be a happy camper with this on their desk.

With my luck I'd get this and try to use the wireless function and the neighbor would get one too and listen to Polka music on it. It would interfere with mine and my classic rock would be out the window! Or it just would not work in my area due to crossfade interoptability maxizoomdweety connipulational disfunctionality.

Wazoo computer,.............what will they think of next? Really?

I just don't think that these people understand the situation that people find themselves in during a recession. Not just Casio, but most of these tech companies keep introducing product after product for the big bucks. Give us a break already! This camera's specs are decent, but nothing to shout out about either. I'll keep my Nikon.
