Signs Point to Apple's OS X Mountain Lion Launching on July 25th
Not to worry if you're a Mac user looking forward to Mountain Lion. According to the latest rumor mill chatter, Apple Stores in the U.S. and overseas are planning an overnight work date on Tuesday, July 24th, presumably in anticipation of Mountain Lion's arrival. If that's the case, it would mean Mountain Lion will likely release to the public the next day (Wednesday, July 25th). Tuesday overnights aren't terribly rare for Apple, so this could be much ado about nothing, but given the time frame, it seems too much of a coincidence.
OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion introduces over 200 features, including a new Messages app, Notification Center, system-wide sharing, Facebook integration, Dictation, Power Nap, AirPlay Mirroring, Game Center, and enhanced security via Gatekeeper. It will sell for $20.
