Samsung Jack Smartphone Lands On AT&T For $99.99

Ah, the BlackJack. Samsung's long-standing smartphone family has grown another, but the newest member has dropped the "Black" and stuck strictly with "Jack." Launching today exclusively on AT&T in the US, the Jack features Windows Mobile 6.1, 3G connectivity, a sleek keyboard and support for instant messaging and access to multiple e-mail accounts.

Samsung makes known that the Jack will be upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5, and as for hard specifications, we're looking at 256MB of RAM, a 3.2MP camera, video-capture abilities, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), aGPS module and AT&T Navigator. There's also a QVGA display and tri-band HSDPA, and you can make it your own today for $99.99 on a two year contract.

I love the BJ line of phones. But since I'm on t-Mobile and even an unlocked jack doesn't support the 1700mhz frequency T-Mobiles 3G uses i guess I have to wait for the HTC Snap for 3G Windows Mobile 6.5 goodness.
