Lenovo has just come clean with loads of new details on the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and if you haven't seen this thing before, it's worth staring at for a bit. At $1399 (the entry-level machine), you'll get a 1.7GHz Core i5-3317 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD and an Intel HD IGP. If you need to stay connected at all times, an optional 3G radio can be added. For $1499, you'll get a 1.8GHz Core i5 (while all other specs remain the same), and the flagship $1849 model tosses in a 2.0GHz Core i7 CPU.
