HP's Envy Spectre XT Utrabook Goes Up for Pre-Order, Anyone Buying?

Remember Hewlett-Packard's Envy Spectre XT, that sexy slab of Ultrabook that you could look at online but couldn't order? Now you can as HP starts taking orders on what looks to be a 13-inch beauty, provided you can cough up the requisite $1,000 asking price for a baseline configuration.

Standard options include a 13.3-inch LED backlit display with a 1366x768 resolution, a 3rd Generation Intel Core i5 3317U processor (Ivy Bridge) with HD 4000 graphics, 4GB of DDR3 memory, 128GB solid state drive, 4-cell battery that's purportedly good for up to 8 hours of run time, 720p HD webcam, backlit keyboard, Beats Audio, USB 3.0 support (a single port to go along with a USB 2.0 port), HDMI output, and a DisplayPort.

All this comes wrapped in a thin and light chassis that measures 12.44 inches by 8.8 inches by 0.69 inches and weighs just over 3 pounds. According to HP's website, orders will ship on June 29, 2012 (exactly three weeks from today).
