Eurocom's Panther 4.0 Notebook is Ready to Pounce, Supports 3D Vision

For those of you who aren't tripping over yourselves racing to the store to pick up a lightweight Ultrabook and demand something bigger and beefier, rest assured there are companies that still believe in the desktop replacement category. Eurocom arguably leads the pack with a full line of desktop replacement systems suitable for high-end gaming and even workstation chores. One of those systems is the new Panther 4.0 with support for NVIDIA's 3D Vision technology.

"The Panther 4.0 3D is here, a system that offers the power of 580M SLI with the enhanced viewing capability of NVIDIA 3D Vision, to give our customers exactly what they want," says Mark Bialic, Eurocom President.

You'll be able to pounce on the new Panther 4.0 starting April 15, provided you need that kind of horsepower in a mobile form factor. The 17.3-inch Panther 4.0 is built around Intel's X79 Sandy Bridge-E chipset and supports up to an Intel Extreme Core i7 3960X processor with single and dual graphics card options. It has up to 32GB of DDR3 memory, four HDD/SSD bays, an optical drive bay, three USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, Firewiere, GbE LAN, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and other odds and ends.

No word yet on how much it will cost.
