Android 5.0 Coming To Samsung Galaxy Devices

Craving a slice of Key Lime Pie topped with Android? It won't be long before Google serves it up. According to a pre-list floating around the Internet, Samsung is planning to update five core devices to Android 5.0 (Key Lime Pie), the next major version of Android that Google is expected to announce at Google I/O.

Those devices include the Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Note 10.1, and the recently announced Galaxy S IV, SamMobile reports. According to the site's inside source, Key Lime Pie figures to be a big update, so expect a staggered roll out. That's pretty much been the case for every major version of Android.

Meanwhile, the same source says Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is en route to a handful of Samsung devices, including the Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Grand DUOS, Galaxy Ace 2,Galaxy S III mini, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Express, Galaxy S, Advance, Galaxy S II, Galaxy S Plus, Galaxy Premier, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Young, Galaxy Young DUOS, Galaxy Fame, and Galaxy X Cover 2.
