Habey Rolls Out a Port-Happy Embedded PC with Atom D2700 CPU, Nvidia GT520 GPU

If you're a fan of fanless embedded systems, there's a good chance you'll like Habey's upgraded BIS-6569A, which is a small form factor PC with a 10W Intel Atom D2700 processor clocked at 2.13GHz and Nvidia GeForce GT520 GPU with 1GB of dedicated GDDR3 video memory tucked inside. Even though it measures just 7.5 inches by 7.5 inches by 2.5 inches, this little system is capable of big output, supporting resolutions up to 2560x1600 via HDMI.

As mentioned, there aren't any fans inside the BIS-6569A, so it should be eerily quiet as it dishes out DirectX 11 visuals. It has plenty of ports, including Gigabit Ethernet, half a dozen USB 2.0 ports, S/PDIF optical audio, VGA+HDMI, four audio I/Os, and a pair of antenna holes for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Habey says the x86 board crammed inside supports up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM. There's a removable 2.5-inch drive compartment, two internal mini-PCI Express expansion slots (perfect for a TV tuner), and VESA mounting holes, all housed in an aluminum built case. The system supports Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Embedded, and Linux operating systems.

No word on price.
