DVR Camcorder Pen Camera

James Bond, or even Maxwell Smart would be proud.  This is a pen that has digital video recording capabilities.  Don't let the DVR acronym fool you; you're not going to hook it up to your cable box.  On the other hand, it will come in handy for those covert operations.

It's not cheap, at $199.95.  According to the site, however, that's a 44% discount.  Shhh.  Keep this quiet.

Oohhh, it's compatible with "MAS OS" too. That's impressive.

Actually, I'd like to have one of these. If anything, just so I could take it apart and fit the workings into something more useful, like a headset.

AVI means that most likely it is using XVID for the recordings, which is unfortunate. If they were to use H.264 it would allow for either longer recording or more importantly, higher resolution. Considering how cheap flash memory is these days, I would expect to see more storage than 4GB for $200. If they take another 44% off, this gadget would be more appropriately priced.
