Hey Marco what is that blinking light and white flashing in your background? (during the NVIDIA 3D vision2 segment) I had to watch that part of the vid a couple times because I had a hard time staying focused from trying to figure out what it was LOL

The Bulldozer hype set some pretty high expectations. Sadly, with all the reviews and benchmarks I've seen, it seems to be a pretty big let down - even though it IS still a very competitive processor.

My heart is still set on getting hooked up with an i7 sandy bridge system - hopefully before they become obsolete :P

I think my wife was taking pictures of the babies in the next room during that segment!

I was thinking that might be it after I saw the object move, either that or you're harboring aliens (the outer space kind of course) hmmm :P

thanks for another solid vidcast ,,sorta think that the id Rage game and it;'s solid game engine &may have a lot of future potential along with the future development of AMD BD and Piledriver chip for next year.So both need a bit more to be worked on fron some os us to be happy .Kinda wondered about the bluetooth and wireless tech not being quite all the there yet but pretty sure that will be worked out eventually.

I was wondering too like Manduhh was with the light flashing and good to know the that the ''family' type feel is present in the vidcasts .Seriously not sure how 'Vanilla Ice' got mentioned [geez{barf} {lol]} more like the Logitech boombox may be Burnin Down 'da House for $150 .

EDiT : Some how all to easy to  pop a few 'BoCooloCoolM Boxx trkx in one the chill threads  Smile

Good stuff guys!!!!!!!!!!

I agree AMD needs to increase the pipeline or whatever Intel did with Conroe. AMD needs to create it's Conroe as Intel went back to the drawing board and created a monster chip that AMD has not recovered from.

Thanks for the broadcast :) very nice. Funny I did not even notice the flashing though I was concentrating more on the audio since I am at work.

I think I want one of those Boomboxes for my Kitchen :) always nice to have reviews even of items that may not be HotHardware related and at $150 bucks it sounds like you almost can't go wrong.

He said SSD's not SSD... lol

Can't wait until this next contest it sounds like it is going to be interesting and hopefully I will have a bit more time this go around to participate :)

Fast CPU's, Audiophiles? That system must be mine! :P

Anyways, AMD's Bulldozer has been wildly hyped so the sense of disappointment is justifiable, I was one of the few to not buy into the hype and instead stick to modest expectations that it'd match Intel's processors; which worked out well enough. Bulldozer matched the i5 processors and proved that AMD could still at least keep up even though it was a year late and Sandy Bridge-E is coming out within a few months.

The Piledriver chip I'm hoping will at least fix Bulldozer's shortcomings and increase the performance to a marginal level; I'm not sure if it's going to beat Intel or match Intel but if I can pick one thing that everybody can agree on, is that everybody is going to be more happy with Piledriver than Bulldozer.

I do like to close out by asking the following question... Does Dave secretly rock out to Vanilla Ice when he's away from his computer?

A system for audiophiles? Yes please! Count me in. Would love a system that could run FL Studio without breaking a sweat.

Thanks for another great show guys!

"This episode had a lot of good Mojo. Good laughs too. Dave looks like Morpheus with the glasses on. I liked all the reviews featured on this episode, and hopefully Joel H will keep on doing a great job covering the games. @ Dave , enjoy last night's Patriots victory, week 9 the boys in Blue are going to pay a visit, w00p A-- time, then week 10 for some more NY *hospitality*."

OPT, we'll see about that. Brady is all warmed up now for the season. See that 2 minute touchdown drive? It's going to be like that, except all game long.

"True, but not their best game either. The Patriots have next week off, but I got my money on the Steelers to demoralize New England , Then the Giants who are on a roll, to slay them, for two straight losses. Not sure about the Jets though for week ten, but tonight's game vs the Dolphins has put them back on track as contenders. We will see soon enough. Go giants."

OPT, I think you are dreaming. With the Pats having a by-week, there only going to get tighter and more lethal with their receivers. Ochocino has been a non-impact player thus far because he's still getting into the program. Bellichick' s home for wayward athletes takes a little time to educate their new residents. Mark my words, the next time they take the field, they're going to light it up big. We just need to bring the defense.

"Chad is more worried about his Twitter and being a off field Super Star than a football player, Bill is going to have tough time integrating Chad to adapt to the Patriots program, In time he will succeed, though how effective in his performance remains to be seen. I really feel the Steelers are going to pounce New England in their next game, as they are very good offensive team that will cause trouble to The Patriots defensive woes. *Then the Giants come by to Stomp the Yard, count on it*. I cant wait."

Great vid guys, that new build sounds pretty awesome. Audiophile??? Does it come with a beefy sound card? I was pretty bummed about bulldozer's performance but I still think it's a good chip for a budget build. Keep up the good work!
