New Xbox 360 Packs a Mean Bite, Will Chew Your Discs if Moved

Word to the wise - if plan on picking up Microsoft's new slimmed down (and sleek looking) Xbox 360 console, be sure not to move the console while playing, loading, or otherwise spinning a game disc. If you do, it could very well be the last time that game disc will load.

Of course, you don't need to take our word for it, or even Microsoft's, who put a warning label on one of the new Xbox 360 consoles at E3. You could instead find out the hard way, as Destructoid.com's Nick Chester did when he innocently lifted the console while it was loading an Alan Wake game. The deed was caught on video, and you can clearly hear the grinding sound as soon as he lifts it up. After ejecting the disc to assess the damage, it was clear that Alan Wake had woken up for the last time.

Looks nasty, doesn't it? If you pick up one of these new consoles, don't say you haven't been warned.
