Far Cry 5 DLC Features Sound Awesome With Zombies, Mars And Mayhem In Vietnam

Ubisoft is giving up some details on Far Cry 5 season pass DLC, and it sounds like it will be very different from what the core game delivers. The core game has players in Hope County, Montana combating The Project at Eden's Gate, as the cult prepares for the end of the world. We caught our first glimpse of the core game last May, however, players have some other cool expanded content to look forward to involving the living dead zombie hordes, a mission to Mars and a retrotastic return to Vietnam.

The season pass content will take players through three very different destinations including Vietnam with a campaign called Hours of Darkness as the first DLC. The second season pass DLC will be called Dead Living Zombies. Ubisoft writes, "...as its title suggests, pits you against zombie hordes in a variety of B-movie scenarios."

In the Hours of Darkness theater games are tasked with battling the Việt Cộng, though details from Ubisoft on that war venue are sparse. And the last of the DLC is called Lost on Mars, which will have players taking off from Earth and fighting arachnids on the surface of the Red Planet. Gamers who purchase the Far Cry 5 season pass will also receive Far Cry 3 Classic Edition. The only catch to that free game for console gamers is that it only includes single-player content. Far Cry 3 Classic Edition will be available four weeks before the game goes on sale this summer on PS4 and Xbox One for season pass buyers.

PC gamers will also get the full version of Far Cry 3 when they purchase the season pass or gold edition of Far Cry 5 (PC gamers need to meet these minimum system requirements in order to play). Far Cry 5 is set to launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC March 27.
