EVGA H370 Stinger Motherboard Crams Lots Of Features Into mITX Form Factor

Gamers or HTPC fans who are looking for a feature-packed mITX mainboard supporting Socket 1151 Coffee Lake CPUs might want to check out the new EVGA H370 Stinger. As the name of the board implies, it uses the Intel H370 chipset and is an economical offering that supports Core i3, i5, and i7 Socket 1151 Coffee Lake-S processors.

The board is also Intel Optane Memory Ready and has an HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 output integrated. The H370 Stinger supports 7.1 channel high definition audio and optical out. EVGA includes Intel Dual-band WiFi / Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity with external antennas for better signal strength.

The board has a single M.2 Key E 32mm socket and a single M.2 Key M 80mm slot, with the latter on the back of the board. For longevity and quality, the board uses 150% more socket gold content and 100% solid state capacitors. Other features include an external clock generator, USB 3.1 Gen 2 support, USB 3.1 Gen 1 support, and USB 2.0 support.

EVGA packs a pair of DDR4 2667MHz+ dual-channel DIMM slots that support up to 32GB of RAM onto the board. There are four SATA 6G ports for internal storage. EVGA isn't clear on when exactly the board will land or how much it will cost, but they do call the H370 Stinger a "budget-friendly workhorse" so expect a reasonable price.
