G.Skill Launches Ripjaws DDR4-4000 32GB SO-DIMM Kit With Ultra-Low Timings
G.Skill's SO-DIMM kit, like the Corsair offering, is aimed at high-performance small-form factor (SFF) systems, which have typically be underserved when it comes to the availability of high-speed memory. In this case, the Ripjaws SO-DIMMs are available in a 32GB kit (4x8GB) operating at 4,000MHz. G.Skill says that the SO-DIMMs are built using hand-binned Samsung B-die DDR4 IC components and have CAS timings of 18-18-18-38, while operating at 1.35 volts.
The Ripjaws DDR4-4000 SO-DIMM kit was stress-tested using an ASRock X299E-ITX/ac mini-ITX motherboard paired up with an Intel Core i9-7900X processors (10 cores, 20 threads). To get the most out of your HEDT system, G.Skill has equipped the SO-DIMMs with Intel XMP 2.0 technology to aid in one-click overclocking.
This latest high watermark for SO-DIMMs comes just two months after G.Skill launched its Ripjaws DDR4-3800 kits rated at CL18-18-18-38. If you're looking to get your hands on G.Skill's latest offering, it will be available during Q1 2018 from authorized retailers.
