Lenovo Launches Windows 10 2-in-1 Onslaught With Miix 320, Yoga 720 And Yoga 520

Lenovo just cruised into this year’s Mobile World Congress with three new Windows 10 convertibles. The Miix 320, Yoga 720 and Yoga 520 all feature versatile designs and varying screen sizes to match your specific productivity needs.

The first of the lot is the Miix 320, which comes with a 10.1-inch 1920x1200 display. If you need to settle down at your desk to get work done, you can use it in notebook mode with the included full-size keyboard. However, if you’d rather veg out on the couch and surf the internet or check out a few YouTube videos, you can detach the tablet from the keyboard base for more freedom.

Lenovo Miix 320

The Miix 320 is powered by an Intel Atom X5 processor, up to 4GB of memory can be installed, and internal storage tops out with a 128GB eMMC. Other features include a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, Dolby Advanced Audio and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Lenovo is even offering an LTE option for those that need on-the-go broadband connectivity. Lenovo promises up to 10 hours of battery life, which should be more than enough to get you through a typical workday.

Moving on up, there’s the Yoga 520, which is a 14-inch convertible with an IPS display (1920x1080). It is available with Intel Kaby Lake processors (up to a Core i7) and can be equipped with up to NVIDIA GeForce 940MX discrete graphics. Up to 16GB can be installed and various internal storage options are available including a 512GB PCIe SSD and SATA SSD + HDD combos. Other features include two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, Dolby Home Theatre with Harman audio, optional fingerprint reader, optional Lenovo Active Pen, and an optional backlit keyboard. Like the Miix 320, battery life is listed at 10 hours.

Lenovo Yoga 520

As we delve deeper into the lineup, there’s the Yoga 720, which is available in both 13- and 15.6-inch versions. The 13-inch model is available a Kaby Lake Core i7 processor, 16GB of DDR3 memory and up to a 1TB PCIe SSD. You can crank the display to UHD resolution (3840x2160), but you’ll be limited by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. You’ll find a built-in fingerprint reader, Dolby Audio Premium, JBL speakers, two USB Type-C ports and Thunderbolt 3. If you choose the FHD model, you’ll be greeted with up to 8 hours of battery life. Opting for the UHD display, however, will trim your runtime down to 7 hours.

Lenovo Yoga 720 (15-inch)

Finally, there's the 15.6-inch Yoga 720 which has the same display resolution, processor and storage options as its 13-inch brother, but offers up an optional NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 to handle graphics duties. The 15.6-inch model also has slightly better battery life, with FHD and UHD display options coming in at 9 hours and 8 hours respectively.

The Lenovo Miix 320 will be available in April with a starting price of $199.99. The Yoga 520 ships in May with a price tag of $799.99. The 13-inch and 15.6-inch Yoga 720 ship in April with starting prices of $859.99 and $1,099.99 respectively.
