Razer Launches DeathAdder Elite Gaming Mouse To Send Your Digital Foes To An Early Grave

If you've never heard of Razer's DeathAdder gaming mouse, then chances are good that you're not a PC gamer. Since the launch of its original model ten years ago, the DeathAdder became the de facto gaming mouse, one that few seemed to have complaints. That's to be expected given its great comfort, great control, and of course, great aesthetics.

Continuing the DeathAdder legacy is the brand-new DeathAdder Elite, a mouse that features Razer's own 5G optical sensor to speed movement up to 16,000 DPI at 450-inches-per-second. Razer says that both metrics set a new standard for the industry, and if you don't believe it, it has another stat: the DeathAdder Elite hit the "highest measured resolution accuracy" of 99.4% in a test.

Given its specs and test results, Razer can rightfully call the DeathAdder Elite the most accurate gaming mouse on the planet. Whether you'll notice a few percentage points difference at the high-level is another story, but there's something to be said about being able to truly rely on your tool while tearing it up in an online world.

It's not just about accuracy here; it's also about control and comfort. This mouse utilizes Razer's mechanical switches, which were co-produced with a world leader in mouse switches, Omron. Even the mouse's scroll wheel has been specifically designed to offer supreme "tactile" control.

In addition to the features that will help you become the king of the hill in your respective game, the DeathAdder Elite supports Razer's Chroma, which lets you customize the lighting which can be synced across other devices.

You can purchase one soon, as Razer expects there to be full worldwide availability next month. What will the world's most accurate mouse cost you? $70. Not too shabby.
