Acer Launches 34-Inch Quad HD XR341CKA Curved Screen Gaming Monitor With NVIDIA G-SYNC

Yesterday we brought you a slew of new back-to-school computers and tablets from Acer, and today we’re diving into a brand new display offering from the company — and boy is it featured-packed. The new XR341CKA bring with it 34-inches of curved screen gaming-oriented goodness with a zero-frame design and 21:9 aspect ratio.

The IPS panel has a resolution of 3,440x1440 and a variable refresh rate courtesy of NVIDIA G-SYNC. The panel will deftly sync up with your NVIDIA graphics card’s render rate, which should do wonders to help minimize input lag and screen tearing (the display maxes out at 75Hz).

“Acer continues to showcase its commitment to PC gaming with the introduction of their new NVIDIA G-SYNC-enabled XR341CKA gaming monitor,” said Jeff Fisher, NVIDIA’s SVP of the GeForce unit. “The preferred choice of PC gamers everywhere is a GeForce GTX GPU, which when paired with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology is the only platform to deliver an ultra-smooth gaming experience across the entire spectrum of PC games.”

Rounding out the features of the monitor are 178-degree viewing angles, 4ms response time, 100 percent sRGB color gamut representation, DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, dual 7W speakers, and a built-in USB 3.0 port.
