It’s time for yet another great giveaway here at HotHardware! This time around we have some awesome AMD Ryzen gear for you, including the HOT 6-core Ryzen 5 1600X (with high performance cooler), 16GB of GEIL DDR4-3200 RAM, and an ASUS Prime B350-Plus motherboard. This kit would make a great foundation for a new build or an easy upgrade to an existing system -- swap out your mobo, CPU, and RAM, and you'll be ready to rock!

To be entered into the giveaway, all you have to do is follow the quick and easy guidelines below. If you're brand new here, there might be a few more steps necessary, but otherwise it's pretty simple...
1) Make sure you're a registered member at HotHardware.com. You can also login with your Facebook or Twitter accounts if you prefer. 2) Be active in news and article discussions, and in the forum, to get noticed. But don't spam! One word or overly simple posts won't count – Contribute to the conversations! 3) "Like" the HotHardware Facebook page, if you haven't already done so. (Share our contest post on your wall to help spread the word!) 4) That's it!
Of course, you could also sign-up for our daily Feedblitz news blasts to keep up with all that's going on around here by clicking the Subscribe button at the the top of the page and following us on Twitter would rock, but that's totally optional. ;-) The contest will run until the end of August, and we'll announce the lucky winner shortly afterward. Get in early and post often!

So the Dinosaur of a PC I am currently using is almost 7 years old.....this would make an excellent start for a New Tower build......on the slim chance that I was fortunate to win and having never built a PC on my own, is there a site/youtube video etc that would give me a good idea of additional components and how to that I could view?

Was looking at building a system and came upon this site. I have never built a system, but this site is a hotbed of great information that I could use to build one. Saw the contest and figured "why not". My current pc is an old Dell XPS and when I was looking to get a new computer, I saw some of the prices and felt that I could do the same and maybe even better for a lot less, especially when it came down to gaming. Good luck to all who enter!

I like AMD and I'm happy with the Ryzen CPU's , they are great in Multitasking and a great alternative to Intel, so I will Change my Intel I7 2700k to a Ryzen 7 , is this a good CPU for a new System ?

Either way if you decide to build your own PC, this is also a great place to help you decide which parts will give you the build you are looking for. PC Part Picker
