Rockstar announced today that a new “Gunrunning” expansion to Grand Theft Auto Online is arriving next month. If you love to play Grand Theft Auto Online and enjoy the “Tron” aesthetic, you are in for a special treat. A new vehicle, a light cycle racing mode, and unlockable in-game bonuses are now available on GTA Online through November 21st, 2016. Jeff Bridges not included, of course. First off, “Deadline” is a racing mode that pits up to four players against each other. The players are given a “Shotaro” vehicle that emits a temporary light trail as they drive around the arena. The latest patch for Grand Theft Auto V spices things up with some special Valentine's Day DLC, including new weapons, vehicles, jobs, and attire. Among the new clothing options you'll find double breasted suits and 1920s flapper dresses, as well the ability to "bare it all in sexy undergarments" and masquerade masks. For the more conservative among you, Rockstar Games also added new novelty t-shirts, hats, and other items available in stores throughout Los Santos. Forget about all the patches and updates Rockstar Games has rolled out to date in order to get Grand Theft Auto Online up to snuff. The first real update -- one that's not intended to fix broken content, but introduce new gameplay -- is scheduled to arrive next week on Tuesday, November 19th, the developer announced. It's called Beach Bum and it will be automatically added to GTA Online through its next title update (version 1.06). The initial roll out of Grand Theft Auto V's online multiplayer mode wasn't as rocky as, say, SimCity's from earlier this year, though several "technical issues" did crop up that prevented players from enjoying the experience on the first day, and even a little while longer. Today is a big day for Rockstar Games and its super popular Grand Theft Auto franchise. Grand Theft Auto Online goes live today, marking the first time the franchise will have an online multiplayer component. Hours before the launch, Rockstar Games decided to post several more details about online gameplay and what you can expect.
