Though this year's CES was unusually quiet in terms of attendance, and even a few exhibitors pulling no-shows, Asus had a plethora of new high tech gadget goodness on display, true to their usual form. We stopped by the booth and spent some time on a tour with David Ray, Vivian Lien, Brian Jang and Peter Clark of Asus, who featured four spotlight products and also discussed the new Asus WePC program in detail.  If you've been tuning in regularly here, you would have noticed that HotHardware.com is a guest author on the WePC.com site, where... On our yearly jaunts to the Las Vegas to attend the Consumer Electronics Show, we meet with numerous companies and see a myriad of products--some we can, and some we can't talk about--in what is always an absolute whirlwind of a trip. This year was no exception. Although the show itself wasn't quite as big as it has been in previous years in terms of attendance, it was nevertheless loaded with cool products and technology that filled not only the Las Vegas Convention center, but multiple surrounding venues, hotels, and suites all along the strip. We're certain many of you would love to attend CES... At the Consumer Electronics Show this past week, NVIDIA was demonstrating a new reference platform for an ultra small form-factor multimedia PC and we should underscore the word "ultra".  To say this new product concept is tiny would be an understatement.  Consider if you will, an entire PC, capable of decoding and playing full 1080p HD video content, in a box that fits in the palm of your hand with a 3" x 4" motherboard.  Based on Intel's 1.6GHz Atom 330 processor with the hearty support of NVIDIA's GeForce 9400M core logic MCP with 16 integrated... Earlier this quarter, we teamed up with Intel and our publicist, Federated Media, in an effort to hold a very special sort of contest and promotion called "Need A Tech Makeover".  The contest allowed us to give back to the community and help out three deserving people whose lives were desperately in need of a technology face-lift.  These three lucky winners would each be awarded $5,000 worth of new desktops and notebooks based on Intel Centrino 2 and Core 2 technology, as well as all the required peripherals to take full advantage of all their... Synopsis:   Lenovo's IdeaPad S10 is a 10" Netbook that sports low power consumption, ultra-portability, respectable performance and a well rounded feature set. It's built on Intel's new low-power Atom processor. Taking on such challengers as Asus' Eee PC and the MSI Wind, Lenovo offers this svelte machine for a modest $399 entry price point.  While the S10's keyboard is a little cramped for a 10" netbook, we liked the machine's, build quality, fit and finish, and super-crisp LCD.Gallery:       Click for full view...
