At the risk of inundating you with Cyber Monday deals that we know you're capable of digging up on your own (our readers are tech savvy, after all), here's another heads up on a bargain that seemed too good to sweep under the rug. Presumably for today only, AT&T is offering the HTC One X for just $0.99 with a qualifying data plan and two-year service agreement. That price reflects an "Instant Savings" of $400 (with contract) plus a $99 online discount, so it's actually a penny under a buck with no gimmicks like mail-in-rebates; if you have a dollar in your pocket, you can afford the One X.... HTC finally saw fit to formally introduce its One X+ smartphone, which is the successor to the popular One X. The refreshed version looks pretty much identical to the original, but on the inside, it sports upgraded hardware, including a 1.7GHz Tegra 3 processor from NVIDIA and a faster clocked GPU that runs at 520MHz. According to HTC, the One X+ is up to 67 percent faster than the One X. It's also the first to pair a Tegra 3 chip with an LTE radio, at least in the U.S. market, as NVIDIA points out. "It boasts a supercharged version of the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, which features the high-performance,... Read more...

On the multimedia side, the camera is said to have better white balance and continuous autofocus.... Read more...
If you're getting ready to purchase HTC's One X smartphone on AT&T, just stop what you're doing and hang tight for a couple of days. That's because the $200 smartphone (with 2-year service agreement) is about to get cheaper -- a lot cheaper. A member of the XDA Developer forum who claims to work for AT&T revealed company plans to slash the HTC One X price in half on Sunday. Effective July 29, 2012, the phone will run $100 on contract. According to the supposed AT&T employee, "this is the new price point, no special or deal." Image Source: XDA Developer Forum The HTC One X is a 4.7-inch... Read more...
Thanks to an ITC exclusion order, two of HTC's flagship smartphones—the One X for AT&T and the EVO 4G LTE for Sprint—were delayed at customs last month. After a short delay, the One X is now available online through AT&T. The phone is expected to hit AT&T stores this Sunday, June 10. Pricing for the phone remains at $199.99 with a two-year contract. As you may recall, the HTC One X features a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Beats Audio, and 4G LTE connectivity. The phone also comes with HTC’s Amazing Camera which gives you continuous shooting... Read more...
Sprint and HTC are sending out invites to an April 4 event where attendees will experience the "latest collaboration" between the companies. Both Sprint CEO Dan Hesse and HTC President Jason Mackenzie will be there, so you can assume it's going to be a big deal. Previously, we heard Sprint was getting the HTC One X, also referred to as the HTC Jet, though at the time this was only a rumor. This invitation adds some credibility to the rumor, and we'll know for sure in a couple weeks what to expect from the two companies. In the meantime, TechoBuffalo claims a "reliable Sprint source" has told them... Read more...
According to reports from S4GRU, HTC's new flagship phone, the One X, could become one of Sprint's first LTE handsets. Referring to the One X as the HTC Jet, unnamed "internal Sprint" sources have stated the wireless carrier will be getting this LTE-equipped phone on June 10. Of course, this date is still a few months away, but it's interesting to note that this date is nearly two years to the date that Sprint launched its first 4G WiMAX handset, the HTC EVO. Although the sources didn't specifically say the HTC Jet is the same as the HTC One X, the specs match including the dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm... Read more...
You can expect plenty of phone news from Mobile World Congress this week, including quite a bit from HTC. The company has teamed with AT&T in order to announce the HTC One X, which will bring LTE, Beats Audio and Ice Cream Sandwich to the U.S. carrier. It'll be exclusive to AT&T in the States, but available on other carriers globally.
