ViewSonic Promises G-Tablet Software Update This Week
The G-Tablet caught a lot of attention early because of the NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip inside. Few tablets use this chip, so any one that does obviously sees a lot of attention. ViewSonic claims that some of the units were being returned due to sluggish performance, and they simply weren't happy with the overall user experience. As a result, the company will be releasing a software update in the near term to hopefully speed things up, and a Adobe Flash certification is targeted for Jan. 2011. Below is the company's full, exact statement on the matter.
