Ubisoft Reveals Hardware Specs for Far Cry 3, Is Your System Ready?

Assuming no more delays, you don't have long to wait until Ubisoft releases Far Cry 3 to PC, which is slated to ship December 4 in North America and November 29 in Europe. That gives you plenty of time to spruce up your system and make sure it meets the minimum or recommended hardware requirements that Ubisoft revealed today.

You don't need a million-dollar system to run Far Cry 3, just a modest setup.

Minimum Specs:

  • Processor: 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 or 3GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ or better
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Videocard: 512MB DirectX 9.0-compliant with Shader Model 4.0 or higher

Recommended Specs:

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 530 or AMD Phenom II X2 565 or better
