Shuttle's XPC line doesn't stay put for long, this week growing yet
another member in the G2 7600. Arriving on the scene just weeks after
the Core i7-powered H7 5800 landed, this small form factor box switches
things up by going with AMD. In fact, this box is the company's first
AMD socket AM3-ready SA76G2 barebones kit, and it's Advanced Micro
Drives to the core.
It features an AMD 760G chipset, AMD AM3 and AM2+
support, AMD’s ATI Radeon™ 3000 graphics, and ATI Hybrid CrossFireX
technology support. Needless to say, this rig is an AMD fanboy's dream
come true. The HD-capable box comes configured with an AMD Phenom II X4
8GB of RAM, a CrossFireX graphics card and built-in Surround View
technology that enables the use of up to four separate monitors.
The Shuttle AM3-ready PC is available now as a
ready-to-go solution, G2 7600, starting at $699 or a
fully-customizable barebone, SA76G2, starting at $219.
