Samsung Reveals Enhanced Series 7 Chronos And New Ultrabooks

Samsung added two new models to its Series 7 PCs. The Series 7 Chronos has been enhanced to offer professional performance in a thin and light form factor. The Series 7 Ultra is a new ultrabook that features plenty of computing power and graphics as well as touch capabilities.

The new Series 7 Chronos features RAMaccelerator software that can provide up to a 150 percent increase in speed. This system also features ten-finger multi-touch capabilities as well as a touchpad and keyboard.

The new Series 7 Chronos has a full aluminum body that measures just 0.82 inches. On the inside, you'll find an Intel quad-core processor with up to 16GB of memory, up to 1TB of storage, and dedicated 2GB external graphics. The display supports full HD resolution (1920x1080) and offers 300nit brightness. Samsung claims the Series 7 Chronos will last for up to 11 hours on a single charge.

The Series 7 Ultra is the first ultrabook in the Series 7 family. Like the Series 7 Chronos, the Series 7 Ultra also features a full aluminum body with an ultra slim and light design. The Series 7 Ultra features a full HD display (1920x1080) with 350nit brightness and a viewing angle of 178-degrees.

Samsung says you should expect up to eight hours of battery life from the Series 7 Ultra. This ultrabook features Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and up to 256GB SSD. Samsung plans to offer the Series 7 Ultra with 4G LTE connectivity in the future.
