Razer Reveals Mouse Bungee For Wired Mice Users

It's a battle that will probably never end: wired vs. wireless mice. Some gamers swear by wired mice, claiming that they're more accurate and that they won't just die on your mid-game if your batteries run out. Some say that the flexibility of a wireless mouse trumps even that, and that they'd rather never worry about a cord slowing down their movements. We obviously see the pros and cons of both input methods, and Razer has been supporting both camps for years.

The company's newest product is actually an accessory designed to make life easier for those who swear by wired mice. It's a Mouse Bungee, developed in cooperation with a company by the same name. The mouse bungee is a useful product; it keeps your mouse cable from becoming tangled, and it makes neat what would otherwise be a mess. Razer calls it a "simple yet innovation solution to a problem common to gamers," and we agree.

It has a base plate with 3 non-slip and non-scratch feet and a dual/parallel suspension spring. The company claims that it will give any wired mouse the freedom of motion normally associated with cordless mice by eliminating mousecord snags, drag and tangles, and the mouse wires even snap into place on the rear cord lock so mice won’t be weighed down and will be held at the same point. It's expected to ship worldwide this quarter, but a price hasn't been listed just yet.
