Here Come the AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series Price Cuts
Well, now that some time has gone by, AMD is finally starting to lower the price of its Radeon HD 7970 and 7950 graphics cards, Fudzilla reports. According to Fudzilla, AMD has cut the MSRP of the HD 7970 to $479 and the HD 7950 to $399. At the time of this writing, those two cards are still selling for around $530 (HD 7970) and $430 (HD 7950) online in the U.S., but Fudzilla explains that "it will take some time for the new prices to filter down to retailers."
In the meantime, a handful of European vendors have already dropped the price for both cards, so it probably won't be long until U.S. vendors follow suit. Additionally, Radeon HD 7770 cards are expected to sell for $139, and AMD will try to entice buyers with game bundles that include titles like Deus Ex, Dirt: Showdown, and Nexuiz.
