Comrade Combat!

If you ever wondered if the Soviet Union allowed and/or had their own video game hardware and developers, apparently the answer is yes.  Most of it looks to be quite similar to what the US had except that a lot of the Soviet games seemed to have less joysticks/pedals and/or buttons.

So if you were a teen in the 70's or 80's USSR, what kind of game would appeal to you the most?  Apparently driving games were all the rage:
"Driving games make up a large proportion of Soviet-made video games. The title of this one, Obgon, means to "pass" or "overtake." There is a single pedal on the floor to accelerate. Soviet driving games did not offer gearshifts or brake pedals."
