Centon Rolls Out MLB Flash Drives A Week Too Late
The Major League Baseball season may be over, but you can bet fans of the New York Yankees won't be forgetting the 2009 season anytime soon. Just a few months after Dell announced that it was selling notebooks with MLB covers, along comes Centon Electronics with a ploy of its own to milk ardent supporters of the club (or any club, really) for a few more dollars.
The company, which is best known for producing DRAM and flash-based memory wares, has today introduced their officially licensed MLB Key chain USB Flash Drives. As expected, all 30 MLB teams are included, though we get the impression that quite a few more orders will be placed for Yankees and Red Sox dongles compared to Royals and Pirates. The drives are fully compatible with Mac and PC systems, and they sport a capless slide design to help you from losing half of it.
They're available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB sizes, though pricing isn't immediately available.
