ASUS PA328Q 32-Inch Monitor Does 4K At 60Hz Over DisplayPort And HDMI 2.0

ASUS has been busily outing new monitors this week, but it isn’t done. The company announced three more 4K panels with the 32-inch PA328Q, 27-inch PA279Q, and future 28-inch monitor with G-Sync.

The smallest of the three is aimed at prosumers and gamers and features wide viewing angles, a slim 9mm bezel, and a 5ms response. There’s 100% sRGB 10-bit color and 300nits brightness, too. Ports include mini DisplayPort, DisplayPort, and four HDMI (1.4/MHL 2.0 combo with two ports supporting PiP). The DisplayPort and mini DisplayPort can output 4K at 60Hz, while the HDMI ports can handle the same at 30Hz.

The larger 32-inch PA328Q is for professionals and features 4K resolution at 60Hz over DisplayPort 1.2, mini DisplayPort and two HDMI 2.0/MHL 3.0. The panel also has two more HDMI 1.4 ports and a four-port USB 3.0 hub.

Both of the above displays offer full tilt, pivot, and swivel capabilities as well as height adjustment.

ASUS also has a concept monitor its showing off that features NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology. “This model has a single 4K panel running at 60Hz over DP1.2, meaning it requires just one G-Sync module, which is far more user friendly,” reads a press release, It’s some cool tech, but there’s no date for a release nor a price set.
