Alien, Leatherface, Triborg and Bo’ Rai Cho Kick Some Butt In New Mortal Kombat X DLC Trailer

More downloadable content is headed to Mortal Kombat X, the bone crunching fighting game that allows you to pit not just franchise characters like Scorpion and Johnny Cage against each other, but iconic foes from the big screen like Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th) and Predator. Get ready for another batch of awesome playable characters.

As revealed in a new gameplay trailer, the Kombat Pack 2 introduces the Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface, Triborg, and Bo' Rai Cho. That's an impressive cast, and if the idea of pitting Leatherface against Jason Voorhees in a brawl to the death or the Xenomorph from Alien against Predator doesn't get your juices flowing, you might already be dead inside.

Mortal Kombat X

Granted, there's something that gets lost in translation here, specifically the fright of running away from a mostly slow and lumbering dude wielding a chainsaw. In Mortal Kombat X, Leatherface appears quick and agile as he wields his mechanical death tool through his opponent's flesh.

Whatever, that's what Mortal Kombat X is all about -- blood, guts, and fights to the death in ridiculous fashion. And with the Kombat Pack 2, WB brings an assortment of new characters to the fray.

As a bonus, gamers who purchase the new DLC will also unlock Goro, which previously was only available as a pre-order bonus, and a bunch of costumes like Kold War Scorpion.

The Kombat Pack 2 will be available soon.
