Adobe's Creative Suite 6 Software Is Now Available, Cloud Coming Soon

Photoshop might well be the most recognized design software this planet has ever seen, and when a new version hits, the Internet pays attention. In fact, Adobe has just launched an entirely new Creative Suite altogether, with CS6 officially going on sale today. The new bundle includes tools like Photoshop, InDesign, lllustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Flash Professional with new programs such as Prelude and SpeedGrade. Looking for new features? We're promised new levels of performance with tools that take advantage of Adobe Mercury Graphics functionality, allowing users to go from ideas to finished work faster than ever before, as well as enhanced user interfaces that vastly simplify workflows, so users can focus on their content and achieve results quicker.

There are also new features that streamline the creation of responsive content, ensuring website and apps look great across virtually all screen sizes and form factors, and if you aren't into paying $1,299 and up for the new CS6 suite, a subscription-based option will surface starting May 11. That'll be delivered via the Creative Cloud for people who would rather pay for CS6 through a monthly rate plan, enabling cloud users to access all CS6 apps, and share content across desktop/mobile/cloud.
