Thermaltake, BMW Tag Team New 'Level 10 M Mouse'

Thermaltake and BMW Group subsidiary DesignworksUSA are no strangers to each other. They've been working on concept projects for the past several years, and the two have teamed up once again to unveil a line of Level 10 gaming peripherals starting with the 'Level 10 M Mouse' for gamers. It's as funky looking as Thermaltake's Level 10 case and just as likely to turn heads at LAN parties.

As weird as it might look, the Level 10 M Mouse is built with ergonomics in mind. It has a solid aluminum base "to ensure both durability and tenaciousness," and is built with an open design with an air-through ventilation system to prevent "issues due to heavy use and direct touch of gaming equipment."

There's a lot going on with the design of this thing, including '3D Steering' axis movement. The mouse is divided between top and base segments, and in between is a steering function to adjust the height and angle.

More traditional specs include an 11-button design, each of which is programmable, an adjustable 8200 DPI sensor, and a Function-Lock mechanism to prevent accidental key presses by locking the side keys when you're in the middle of an intense frag fest.

Look for the Level 10 M Mouse to launch this Spring for an as-yet undetermined price. In the meantime, there are plenty more hyped up details to view here.
