Roadmaps for 2005, Seagate 5.0GB Pocket HD, and more!

I think today has been the coldest day yet in my neck of the woods(and I do mean woods). Usually two overclocked computers will do the job of warming my room, but not today. So here I sit, delivering you the news with multiple layers of clothing. I know Wednesday and Friday are the days for game related news, but there really isn't much in the way of need to know news, so I may have to rework the days. Well, time to get these stiff fingers working...

Hardware Roadmaps For 2005 @ PC Stats

"Wondering what's in store from the computer industry in 2005? PCstats had a look at some roadmaps from around the web that detail everything from AMD's move to 90nm SOI manufacturing process on its 'San Diego' core, to the dual core Athlon64 FX 'Toledo' processors due in late 2005."

Seagate 5.0GB Pocket Hard Drive @ hardwarezone

"The new Seagate 5.0GB Pocket Hard Drive is a uniquely designed portable storage device based on Seagate's latest one-inch drive. Besides being just an ordinary storage device, it comes with a unique toolkit that gives users added data security."

Aerocool Cool-Panel reviewed @ hi-techreviews.com

"...Take for example their newest product, the Aerocool Cool-Panel, it would be very easy to say that this product is a 8 in 1 card reader, but it goes far beyond that. It actually becomes the centralized connection point for a pair of USB 2.0 connectors, a Firewire connector, two SATA connectors along with a nice size LED which displays two separated temperatures and two separate fan speeds."

SwifTech: MCX462-V vs. MCX462-U @ OC-Service.com

"Most of us probably do not realise what having a bad cooler can end up with. A moment of absorbtion and we lose our new CPU bought for couple of hundred PLN. There is no other solution that assembling a better cooler, either Zalman, Thermalright or – if you happen to like it - SwifTech. The last company is the one, whose products I am going to introduce to you today."
