Microsoft Will Start Black Friday Sales A Day Early

Every year, it seems like retailers are opening earlier and earlier on Black Friday in an attempt to be the first stop for shoppers. This year, Microsoft is starting even earlier than most: According to a teaser located on the main page of the company's online store, the company plans to start its Black Friday sale on Thursday morning at 12:00 AM.

Not all deals will be available on Thursday—for users who want a deal on Microsoft's new Surface, you'll have to wait until Friday. For customers who want to score a deal on an Xbox 360, Microsoft software, and other Microsoft products, Thursday's sale may be exactly what you are looking for. Some of the deals run through Saturday, November 24 while others will extend through Monday, November 26.

Some of Microsoft's Black Friday deals include $200 off the Acer Aspire V5 notebook, up to $100 off Xbox 360 consoles, $50 off Office Home and Student, and more. Microsoft's Surface deal will run from Friday, November 23 through Sunday, November 25. With this deal, you'll save $50 on a 2nd touch or type cover when you buy a Surface bundle.
