MSI AG2712A is a 27-inch All-in-One for Gamers with Radeon 8970M Graphics, SSDs in RAID

It's a new era in computing, and we say that because few would have imagined a few years ago that there would be so many all-in-one (AIO) systems aimed at gamers. For one, the form factor was, for a long time, cost prohibitive, and secondly, it doesn't exactly lend itself to the advanced cooling needs of high-end systems or upgrade desires of gamers. Nevertheless, we're starting to see more and more AIOs aimed at gamers, including MSI's AG2712A.

The AG2712A is a 27-inch AIO (1920x1080) with an Intel Core i7 3630QM quad-core processor and AMD Radeon HD 8970M discrete graphics card. It also features support for up to 16GB of RAM, a pair of 128GB solid state drives configured in RAID, 2TB hard drive, built-in 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, DVD drive or Blu-ray writer, 3-in-1 memory card reader, two 5W speakers, various connectivity ports, 2MP webcam, Windows 8, and optional 10-point touch support.

One feature MSI wants to highlight is the AIO's "Flicker Free" technology. What it does is stabilize currents and stops most flickering, which is usually invisible but can cause eye strain and fatigue over long periods of time. It also supports Blue Light Control technology, which reduces blue light emitted from your screen to safeguard your eyes, MSI says.

MSI didn't mention an MSRP or say when the AG7212A will available to purchase.
