Lenovo Showcases Frameless Flex 20 All-in-One, Yoga 2 Pro Ultrabook at IFA

You don't become the world's largest PC player by standing idly by, and certainly no one can accuse Lenovo of doing so at IFA. On the contrary, Lenovo announced a number of new products today, including the Yoga 2 Pro, a 13.3-inch touchscreen laptop with an eye-popping 3200x1800 resolution. That's four times the visual clarity of the original Yoga's HD+ display (1600x900) and also the highest screen resolution on the market today, Lenovo says.

The Yoga 2 Pro is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, measuring 15.5mm and weighing 1.39kg. Processor options go all the way up to Haswell, and you can also configure one with up to a 512GB solid state drive. Toss in Windows 8.1 and you have a highly flexible machine.

Lenovo also unveiled the Flex 20, a tabletop PC that also functions as an all-in-one desktop. It has a frameless design and wields a 19.5-inch display with a 1600x900 resolution. Other features include 500GB of HDD or SSHD storage, up to an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, two USB 3.0 ports, and more.

Among the other products Lenovo rolled out is the Vibe X smartphone. It's a sexy looking device that probably won't ever see U.S. shores, but we wish it would. It has a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 13MP rear-facing camera, 5MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens, 2000 mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
