NVIDIA's replacement for the aging GeForce 6600 GS and answer to ATI's Radeon X1600 series has been launched as the GeForce 7600 GS. (From Hardware Zone) - Based on the MSI NX7600GS-T2D256EH that we have just seen, the GeForce 7600 GS not only runs circles around the GeForce 6600 GT, it makes a mockery of ATI's mid-range offering. The nearest price competitor, the Radeon X1600 PRO barely qualified as such in our benchmark and it took the more expensive and higher clocked Radeon X1600 XT to salvage the situation, albeit with the MSI card winning the benchmarks more often than not.
