EVGA Intros Fully Modular SuperNOVA 1200 P2 PSU with 10 Year Warranty

EVGA has long been offering some of the most impressive-looking power supplies on the planet, both in terms of performance and features. With its just-announced SuperNOVA 1200 P2, the company looks to continue that legacy.

As you may have been able to glean from its name, EVGA's latest PSU is a 1200W unit. Promising up to 92% efficiency at full-load, the SuperNOVA 1200 P2 earns itself an 80 PLUS Platinum badge - the only one better is Titanium, but units with that are super-rare at this point. It should be noted, though, that EVGA is expected to release a 1600W unit in the near-future that does carry that coveted Titanium badge.

Another standout feature of the SuperNOVA 1200 P2 is what's written on paper: A 10-year warranty. That's huge, and can really give you some peace-of-mind after plunking down $269.99 for the unit.

Other key features include a fully modular design, ECO Thermal Control, a single +12V rail supporting up to 99.9A, "highest quality" Japanese solid-state capacitors, and a double-bearing fan.

As mentioned above, the SRP for EVGA's SuperNOVA 1200 P2 is $269.99, with the unit expected to go on sale soon.
