Behold The Tweet Activity Dashboard, A Place To See How And Where Your Tweets Fly

Have you ever wanted to analyze your Twitter posts? The microblogging service is making it possible to do that through its Tweet activity dashboard, a new tool that lets you see how people engage with your posts in real time, compare your posting activity every month and see how they trend over a period of time, and get a detailed view of the number of retweets, replies, favorites, follows, or clicks a particular Tweet receives.

For the casual user, it's a neat tool that you might check out every so often as a novelty, or more often if you want to take better advantage of the social networking scene. However, for businesses and people that use social networking tools to expand and promote their brand, the metrics can be highly useful in seeing which posts prove the most popular and whether or not your posting habits are paying off.

Twitter Dashboard

Prior to today, the dashboard was only available to advertisers, Twitter card publishers, and verified users. However, it's being rolled out to everyone and is currently available to English, French, Japanese, and Spanish users who've had an account for at least two weeks.

If you want to check it out, head over to analytics.twitter.com and log in with your username and password. Be advised that you'll need to disable ad blocking tools while on the site (and hopefully have them disabled here on HotHardware as well -- those ads pay the bills, folks!).

Don't freak out if it's mostly blank the first time you check it out. It takes some time to populate with impression and user engagement data.
