Archos Ships '70' Internet Tablet And '32 / '28' Media Players

Why wait for CES? That's exactly what Archos is thinking. The company has just revealed that the Archos 70 Internet Tablet, the first Android tablet with a 250GB hard drive, is now on sale and available to purchase in the United States. This is a unique Android tablet, as it focuses first on being a multimedia tablet. There's plenty of storage for your music, photos and videos, and there's a high-res screen, a 1GHZ CPU and a Wi-Fi module. It's on sale now for $349.99, which is actually less than a Galaxy Tab with far less storage.

If that's too large for you, the Archos 28 and 32 are also shipping today. These are portable media players, not quite large enough to be considered a tablet. The first has a 2.8" display while the second has a 3.2" panel, and both of which have Android onboard. Each one features 8GB of storage, with the 28 selling for $99.99 and the 32 going for $149.99.
