    Frontlines: Fuel of War impressions

Well, I picked up this game about a week or two ago, played it for a few hours, and forgot to come back toit for about a week.. yea, it made that much of an impression on me.

    The Good:

Decent graphics, runs very well on almost anything

    Fun to play

Vehicles and classes are interesting, felt like Battlefield 2142 only single player.

     Story is fairly decent

    The Bad:

Had to disable foliage otherwise it would glitch out like mad

Enemies have either incredibly poor aim, or will easily snipe you at 1,000 yards. I have shot some one at extremely long range with the sniper rifle, and one of his buddies evern further away killed me in 1 burst.

Effects are very poor, Shoot some one in the head and watch their helmet fly hundreds of feet in the air, same with weapons.

Constant clippings, blow a door down and if flies through some one, multiple times I have walked through solid doors , sometimes you will walk through adoor way, and turn around and there is a solid wall with a door painted on it.

    Teammates are clinically retarded

Overall I thought it was fun, definately a must buy... when it hits the $20 bargain bin  at your local game store. Play time  is about 6-7 hours on hard core.

As for online play, I have yet to try, due to my Colleges network, they throttle many games heavily, I am pretty sure this one will be unplayable for me online.

I will try to get some screenshots up later. Due to the Unreal 3 engine, there is not AA or AF, however I was able to force 16x AA and 16xAF in the Nvidia control panel, and at 1680x1050 it is still at >60 FPS.

It is essentially Battlefield 2142 mixed with Battlfield 2.

Definately shooting enemies in the head an seeing how high their helmets fly is very fun.  Just be careful, explosions don't really hurt people at all.
