BTC's 9051H Cheetah "pro" keyboard and mouse

this 9051H Cheetah keyboard / mouse combo. The board has that righty-oriented FPS key cluster, backlit keys that change color according to typing speed, comes bundled with that generic looking laser mouse with variable DPI (800, 1300, and 2000) and two programmable buttons

looks great for gamers wouldnt mind getting one when they come out

I don't really get the point of having dedicated WASD pad. It's one of those things that seems like a marketable idea on paper but doesn't quite pan out. There doesn't seem to be any functional advantage over a standard keyboard. It might help newer players, or people transitioning to PC gaming from consoles who might have issues with hitting the wrong buttons or something but I've yet to meet a seasoned PC gamer who has issue with using a standard keyboard. I doubt a new gamer would be the type to shell out for such a peripheral, especiually since they usually cost $40++. So who are these things aimed at then? Doesn't seem to be a market, to me anyway.

They are interesting to look at and they usually look pretty nice. It just makes me wonder if anyone actually buys them. A couple companies have released similar products in the past and as far as I know, they never sold that well.
