There are no performance increases at all with these new b3's. Still the same old stuff, but the eratta is now fixed....Amd doesn't have much time before Nehalem is released...Also, considering intel is moving up their Bloomfield Nehalem processors to Q3 2008 (Pre-emptive strike to completely shut down the want for Shanghai), AMd is in big trouble.

I too still have faith in AMD pulling a rabbit out of there you know where...
Right now the name of the game is speed and first to market and there lagging.
I soooo want a phenom it makes no sense, but if they don't do something about these chips I'm going to end up on a Q(insert latest Intel code) something. The biggest problem that AMD has facing it, along with the 800 pound gorilla is that alot of AMD early adopters (I include myself) still feel the pain of the Socket 700 - 900 flip flopping that left some with useless hardware (personally I have 1 extra processor and 3 extra boards)....and we don't want to be burned again.

With AMD it always seems to be too little, too late. As Kamrooz said, these B3's aren't any better. AMD's efforts would have been better spent getting Shanghai to market so they could compete in the 45nm game. For the time being Intel has got a strangle hold on the market until AMD is through playing catch up.

Amd has some serious catching up to do that's for sure.  I'm still sitting on an AMD and for every thing I do I don't notice any lag or drag.  Most of the games I run don't even get close to 75% utilization of both cores, and that's only in heavy games.  Getting mileage like that I'm probably going to wait and see what comes with Intels platform change, and what happens with the 65nm quad prices when they switch out.
