I'm about to upgrade the AMD 4400+ CPU on my HP Pavilion a6110n, to a AMD Athlon 64 x2 5600+ Windsor 2.8 GHz Dual Core CPU. Hi peti, the website you linked to had an update to this news. Zii is apparently a new, low power media processor - not sure how that translates into actual sound card products but it probably could... Meanwhile I registered for updates on zii.com - but haven't got any yet.

Bob, No, the standard chips have adjustable mults for all 4 cores too but just can only be dialed down, instead of down and up like the Ex chips.
