Ok, so I am in the middle of deciding between this Amd fx 8350 processor and the Intel® Core™ i7 3970X Six-core 3.5GHz/4.0GHz Turbo 15MB L3 Cache w/ HyperThreading. I have been asking a lot of people for their opinion and really want to know, which processor will preform better? Can someone please tell me which processor has better performance? Thanks.

«Banner year» for AMD ? We'll have to see the response when Bulldozer is released - and it looks like that won't happen until, at the earliest, the beginning of September. Rick Bergman's attempt to finesse this issue at Computex (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbIboX36Lhs) was painful to watch. A pity, because we need AMD as a counter to Intel's dominance....

This is a good foreshadowing of what is going to happen to AMD/ATI stock...It will be bulldozed

Their box store marketing model doesnt work on CPU's. You cant just try and sell a bunch of cheap disposable Chinese products to the masses, without providing quality and good customer service!
