Disposable electronics!

Every product I have tried were cheaply made, and did not last to long. I am sure they have gotten better, but with my dealings with them before, there is no reason for me to go back to them. It would also be a matter of principle. I see no reason to support an economy that does not return the favor. It is the same as taking all the money in your house and giving it to your neighbor, only to have him come back and buy your house and kick you out!

Even now, their electronics are nice and shinny so it seems like you are buying high quality. They have been doing good for around two years now and I would venture to say that the warranties on those products are about due! So I am sure they will fail within their warranty period like they were designed to. So if you feel comfortable having to replace your major components every few years, then more power to ya!

I guess for those who feel that Che and Mao are cool, cheap electronics feels like a good placation for actual economic freedom. If you know Che, then buying samsung is kinda like how he made people feel like they were getting free health care. Just before they were all subjugated to oppressive rule:P

This is nothing short of an economic war of attrition. Only this time you will have a shinny flat screen that will probably break right before you are kicked out of your house.

Remember the Ukrainian famine and the 7-10Million who starved while the food banks were overflowing.

Thanks for the frustration

Since Circut City and CompUSA has closed two years ago, there are no good electronics stores here. As over priced as they were, at least they had good variety of computer tech.

Now all we have is BB and they only stock what they tell us to buy.

I really miss those "Geek a week" trips to Fry's! I even miss the Mars Attack theme of the Burbank store, or the Tropical theme of the Manhattan store

Nice, either way we need more manufacturers making deals with the SDD companies, then we might get the prices down.

Just got one of these from NewEgg.com for use in a Mac Pro. Huge disappointment. It reports itself as model ST3_INVALID_PFM. A quick Google search indicates it needs a firmware reflash, and that can only happen on a PC. ...and NewEgg has a 15% restocking fee for refunds. Wanna bet that the replacement will have the same problem?

So... I guess there's a Western Digital, Hitachi, or Samsung drive in my future. ...after I find a new supplier.
