The card only goes up to about 55c under load. I have really good cooling in my case.

Yea, not even that the GPU is important for games, but like BigWop says, they are integrating it into everything nowaday. I believe Vista uses it for their Aero as well. But I always believed in having both a fast CPU and fast GPU to somewhat eliminate the bottlenecks.

I recently got an EVGA 8800 GTS 512 to go with my new SAmsung 40" 1080p monitor. When I first got it I was just running my monitor at like 1280x720, and it looked ok. Ok so im thinking of getting a 8800 gt g92. My mother board is a s939 DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Expert. Ive been reading some stuff about the g92 having problems with pci express 1.0 slots? Can anybody shed some light on this, should I get this card, is it going to work, or just get an older 8800 gts? Thanks.
