Did you get a chance to hook it up to a ps3 or a 360, if so how did it scale? With the HDMI it would be a good second screen for that but i've heard about some problems with other 24" displays when it comes to that. Thanks,

Well here is a quick check list that i can think of off hand in no particular order I assume nothing is overheating? are you getting any beeps from the mobo? you installed the mobo correctly with the stand offs to it's not shorting out right? What components are you using? is your psu big enough and did you plug in the extra power for the vid card

I'd swap out the CPU next, the celery with its lack of cache and a few of the other missing parts is really hurting your performance more then anything else now that you added the ram. Your gpu is still fairly good and should be able to run most games no problem once you put in an new cpu. Wait for a sale or look at ebay for a used one if cash is

i like contests, the folding ones are always good because it at least promotes something useful to others (not that gaming ones are bad, you need to have fun too) I'll have to switch back to xp if that happens though as Vista doesn't like sending half of the WU's that i finish to the FAH servers so i stopped again :( I'll try and pick

If you're moving to Canada you shouldn't have to pay duty on your personal belongings, i think duty really only applies when you visit the states and then come back to Canada or you have something shipped into Canada. Here is the link to Canada Customs, hopefully that will help you find out all the info you need to know to move up here. http

If she has some empty drive bays try taking those out or see if the whole front cover can come off and then maybe you can reach in and install the extra ram. As for vista i'm running ultimate and at first i only had a gig and it was ridiculously slow, i'm up to two now and it works great.

2001 Audi A6 2.7T Silver with the new RS4 gunmetal rims. i bought it a couple years ago and i love it.

Makes sense, i'm still going to have to order 2 gigs though, just to make me feel better

Well i installed 32 today, not too bad, but man is it ever a ram hog, it hovers around 80% that's ridiculous, i suppose i'll just have to go out and buy some more ram then

That's pretty much what i figured the experience would be, and since i leave my computer on 24/7 (folding) stability is important, so i think i'll start off with 32 and see how that goes. Thanks for the input guys i appreciate it.
