if u have never been able to use it u probably need to go into ur bio's settings and enable it as your computer restarts u can hit delete to get into your bios check under perifrials or what ever,, u will see a listing for the ethernet adapter Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 enable that ,,, change nothing else and hit f10 to save the changes ,,
